St. John’s Ambulance – 2 Day Standard First Aid, CPR/AED Level C (Intermediate), (EES)
This comprehensive two-day in-class course provides participants with the knowledge and skills to confidently respond to medical emergencies at work, home, or in the community.
The program meets OH&S provincial and federal regulations and follows the CSA Standard Z1210-17 for first aid training. Over two full days of in-person instruction, participants will cover first aid principles, injury and illness response, and the use of an AED with CPR at the Level C standard.
- Format: Traditional, classroom-based (no pre-course online work required)
- Certification: Upon successful completion, participants receive a St. John’s Ambulance certification valid for 3 years
- Who it’s for: Individuals requiring workplace-approved training or those seeking comprehensive emergency preparedness

St. John’s Ambulance – RECERTIFICATION Standard First Aid, CPR/AED Level C (Intermediate), (EES)
This recertification course aligns with the CSA Z1210-17 Standard and meets all Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) requirements.
Who Should Attend
Participants must hold a current Standard First Aid (SFA) certificate. This 1-day recertification is intended for individuals who regularly use their first aid skills. The course serves as a competency challenge of the Intermediate First Aid program and requires students to demonstrate all key practical skills and successfully complete a theoretical exam.
The written exam is administered at the beginning of the class, and a minimum score of 70% is required to continue with the practical components. Students are strongly encouraged to review the course material beforehand:

To successfully complete the course, students must:

Participate fully in all skill assessments

Demonstrate the ability to perform continuous CPR for a minimum of 2 minutes

Pass the written exam with a score of 70% or higher
Graduates will receive a wallet card and wall certificate, valid for 3 years.
