St. John’s Ambulance – RECERTIFICATION Standard First Aid, CPR/AED Level C (Intermediate), (EES)
This recertification course aligns with the CSA Z1210-17 Standard and meets all Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) requirements.
Who Should Attend
Participants must hold a current Standard First Aid (SFA) certificate. This 1-day recertification is intended for individuals who regularly use their first aid skills. The course serves as a competency challenge of the Intermediate First Aid program and requires students to demonstrate all key practical skills and successfully complete a theoretical exam.
The written exam is administered at the beginning of the class, and a minimum score of 70% is required to continue with the practical components. Students are strongly encouraged to review the course material beforehand:

To successfully complete the course, students must:

Participate fully in all skill assessments

Demonstrate the ability to perform continuous CPR for a minimum of 2 minutes

Pass the written exam with a score of 70% or higher
Graduates will receive a wallet card and wall certificate, valid for 3 years.

Please note: This course involves physical activity such as bending and kneeling. Comfortable clothing is recommended.
Attendance Requirements
Students must arrive on time and be present for the full duration of instruction. Anyone who misses course content cannot be certified, and fees are non-refundable in accordance with our Cancellation Policy.
