Canadian Red Cross Instructor Recertification Course, Sep 2023
This is the Virtual Red Cross Instructor Recertification Course. Instructors are required to recertify each of their certificates separately (First Aid Instructor (CORE), Professional Responder Instructor, Wilderness & Remote First Aid Instructor, etc.) Completion of the First Aid Instructor HUB also recertifies Teaching Experience Supervisor (TES) and Youth Leader certification if applicable.
There are 2 steps to recertify your First Aid & CPR Instructor Certification:
- Virtually attend the HUB Instructor Recertification Training (4 hours)
- Virtually attend the Discipline Specific Instructor Recertification for FAI (4 hours)
Course Details
Pre-requisites:
- Valid (non expired) Red Cross First Aid & CPR Instructor (FAI). If you are expired please call the head office for assistance.
- You must have taught a minimum of 3 Canadian Red Cross courses. ex: Standard First Aid (Full or Recert, or Emergency First Aid) within your certification period. Course taught must be at the highest level of certification within each discipline
Duration: 4 hours per component, 8 hours total for both (Hub and Discipline Specific)
Cost: $200.00 + GST = $210.00 (For Both components)
$150.00 + GST = $157.50 for either HUB or Discipline Specific. Please call or email the office to register for only one component.
