Ground Disturbance Level II (Global Ground Disturbance® Certified)

Ground disturbance work poses serious risks to workers, infrastructure, and the public if not properly planned and executed. This course provides participants with the knowledge and practical skills required to safely perform and supervise ground disturbance activities.

The Ground Disturbance Level II (Global Ground Disturbance®) course delivered by Big Hearts First Aid teaches hazard identification, safe work practices, and regulatory requirements in accordance with Global Ground Disturbance® standards and recognized industry best practices.

Participants will learn how to identify and assess hazards, interpret locate documentation, understand roles and responsibilities, implement safe excavation practices, and ensure compliance when working around buried facilities.

This course includes both classroom instruction and practical examples to ensure participants understand how to apply safe ground disturbance procedures on the job.

Upon successful completion, participants will receive a Global Ground Disturbance® Level II certificate valid for three years.
